AGUSTÍ TORELLÓ MATA, Xarel-lo Xic

Agustí Torelló Matá was founded in 1950 by Agustí Torelló, who has done more than possibly anyone else to raise the international reputation of cava.

The estate is committed to using only Spanish varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, only organic treatments in their 100 hectares of old vines and follows sustainable practices from vineyard to winery.

As a guarantee of quality, all cavas are vintage-dated and carry the date
of disgorgement. In addition, the estate produces organic still wines from the local varieties under the DO Penedès appellation.
