Little fizzy, very wild, lip smacking acidity, flavours of pear, apricot yoghurt and a lot of citrus! Beautiful texture from the slight skin contact makes this not only a summer banger but an any day, any time bottle of wine! |

Staffelter Hof is one of the oldest recorded wineries - dating back to the year 862 AD, almost 1,200 years old!
It taken over by the current family in 1805.
Jan Matthias Klein took over from his father in 2005, and continued to make classic Mosel wine until 2010.
Since then Jan's farming has been organic and certified as such since 2014 and he moved to a minimal intervention style of winemaking.
All the vineyards are now farmed biodynamically and production is divided between classic wines - though now made with minimal intervention - and the newer, experimental, natural wines that Jan loves.
