Sette is the brainchild of Gino Della Porta, a wine marketing expert from Tuscany, and Gianluca Colombo, a winemaker from Barolo.
They farm biodynamically 5.5ha of vines (aged between 20 and 75 years) in Nizza Monferrato, possibly the most important cru for barbera in Piemonte.
Focused on a pure expression of the varietals and intrinsically traditional in style, the approach is definitely non-interventionist, but with an open mind when it comes to vessel for fermentation and ageing.
The result is a collection of elegant wines respectful of the terroir, where
depth, complexity and joyful drinking feel are perfectly married together.
