An historic Piemontese estate in the most northerly Barolo commune, Castello di Verduno makes wines that are traditional in style.
The vineyards cover some of the best crus of the area, including the famous Barbaresco cru Rabajà.
The use of traditional methods – long, slow fermentations and extended ageing in large old casks – allow the wines to clearly express the characteristics of each vineyard.
They are also dedicated to production of the fruity and elegant pelaverga, a grape local to Verduno.
