Adolfo De Las Heras Marín acquired the El Renegado (the renegade) estate in Valencia in 1985.
In the beginning, the estate was made up of 540 hectares of forest and vines, of which
80% were 40 years old and produced native Bobal grapes.
In keeping with the times, Adolfo also introduced other grapes such as Merlot and Cabernet.
During those early years, Don Adolfo began marketing young wines as well as discovering new methods of winemaking.
His son, Adolfo De Las Heras Polo, has continued this legacy.
Since taking over the winery in the late nineties, he has meticulously shaped the Bodegas Nodus estate using modern techniques.
Certified organic, these wines are fresh, fun and enjoyable.
